KYLIE NORMAN    

 

The first time Kylie heard Bobby Keys play the Saxophone on a ‘Stones’ track she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to music. After her dad caught her playing ‘air sax’ in front the mirror he thought she had talent so brought her a real Saxophone.

After heading off to London for Music School and joining a band, she was spotted by a model scout where she juggled her studies and modeling. She then won a place at the Number 1 University in the UK for Film Studies, while excelling at her studies she presented on Hospital Radio and BBC Radio Norfolk.


Now, Kylie is a TV presenter, Radio Presenter and Voicover artist and on top of that she has a degree in Film, has worked in TV production for the last 6 years on shows such as ‘The Paul O’Grady Show’ for ITV as a researcher where she pre interviewed celebrity guests, C4 at the festivals as an Assistant Producer and MTV.

She currently presents for the GCap group on some of their stations such as Capital FM, Classic FM and XFM where she has a movie show and a show covering the latest in the world of soaps, as well as this she also voice’s for some of GCap’s clients such as Bacardi and BMW.

Kylie’s past TV presenting credits includes ‘DVD Premier’ for ITV, ‘Ouch! That’s got to hurt’ for The Reality Channel, ‘The Garage Awards’ for Rapture TV, Avago, Bid-Up TV, ‘Live TV’ in 2004, where she presented an entertainment news show, both in the studio and at red carpet events, interviewing celebrities such as Will Smith, Ewan McGreggor and Ozzy Osbourne. For the last 3 years she has interviewed some of her favorite rock legends at the Download festival for C4, including Slash and Nikki Sixx!

When not working Kylies favorite past time is going to gigs and has a particular interest in unsigned bands as she presented her own radio show for a station called ‘Pulse Rated’ which is dedicated to new and emerging artists. She was there for just over a year until she was scouted by Gcap! She is also keen on keeping fit by boxing, Bikram Yoga and shopping.
