Max is one of the freshest talents to appear on our TV screens
and radio waves in recent history, She has recently been hosting
and charming both viewers and guests on MTV's last series
of its flagship show TRL, broadcast live every day from London!
She can now be heard on BBC 1Xtra every day 12-2pm, with her
energetic and warm presenting style.
Her job has had her getting up close and personal with the
world biggest stars from 50 Cent to Orlando Bloom! Her candid
approach to interviewing is one of a kind who can forget when
she asked 50 "Do you still do Groupies?" or when
she asked Will Smith "It must hurt when the Hip-Hop community
refer to you as an Uncle Tom?"!
Before MTV, Max was the voice of the Century Network's Evening
Show, broadcast all across the North East. Whilst being in
the North East, Max welcomed the likes of Joss Stone, Jamie
Cullum, LL Cool J, Justin Timberlake and Usher to join her.
Even before that Max was representing in the Midlands doing
numerous radio shows including a very popular Saturday night
Club Show at Coventry's Kix 96. After a start in Journalism
writing for several publications Max turned her talents to
radio. "My career in radio came about from being so passionate
about the music I always wanted to support and make a difference."
It was only a matter of time before Galaxy Radio, the BBC
and MTV came chasing "Coming from a music background
has always meant being edgy and upfront and that's where I'm
truly at home"
