Alison joined CNBC Europe, producing business and world news when the Iraq War broke out. She ran the news desk breaking key stories and prided herself in getting the first interview with CEOs, politicians, and world leaders.
She is an ambitious sports host and reporter with an enviable contacts list, having worked with some of the biggest names in football such as Fabio Capello, Jose Mourinho, and Zinedine Zidane.
She has worked on a variety of sports, however her speciality is football. Alison has reported at, and hosted several key events including 2 Champions League campaigns, 3 Cup finals, Beckham’s debut for LA Galaxy and the World Cup.
Her production experience led her to launch Real Madrid TV in Spain and she re-located to a new country, learned a new language, and set up a new channel.
As head of presentation, she hosted news, live events, fronted a magazine show, and produced / presented her own weekly chat-show on football.
When Alison was offered work on Sky Sports News during the Germany World Cup she returned home to freelance in Sport and took up a similar role at Chelsea.
Her multimedia work includes print journalism, radio, podcasts, mobile content and youtube blogs, as well as producing documentaries, such as a Charity video in Ghana with Michael Essien and Jose Mourinho. She has also been an entertainment reporter covering events such as London Fashion week, and Cannes Film Festival
Alison currently reports worldwide with her work on Al - Jazeera and ESPN, where she is a European correspondent, travelling to training grounds and stadiums all over Europe interviewing players and managers. She is also their Champions League reporter.
