Wes Butters

At 30, Wes Butters is one of his generation’s most successful broadcasters and writers. He was one of only nine Radio 1 DJs to host the prestigious UK Top 40 chart show, and regularly stood in for Chris Moyles and Scott Mills. He won numerous awards, including a Sony, for his Galaxy breakfast show, and recently made a return to national radio on the BBC 6 Music breakfast show and BBC Radio 4, producing and presenting documentaries for the network.

He is a presenter on television and was the voice of The Brit Awards (ITV1), Top of the Pops (BBC1), An Audience With Take That (ITV1), Live 8 (BBC) and countless albums and DVDs. He even features in the movie Love Actually.

Wes, the man behind the ‘Crazy Frog’ record, has modelled for GQ, Vogue, and Company magazine.

The release of his first book, Kenneth Williams Unseen, through publishers HarperCollins, met critical and public acclaim. His second book, Whatsisname: The Life and Death of Charles Hawtrey, is due for release in early 2010 and he is currently writing I Love Music, a personal look at the history of rock and pop, for Getty Images.

He has a two-year old daughter named Maisie.
