The Genre of Music is quite amazing for their age group, as its very retro late 80s early 90s. They have written their debut album which has now been recorded. They are fortunate to have 2 great Producers David Stevens and Trevor Murrell who between them have worked with huge artists, like, Lionel Richie, The Bee Gees, Michael McDonald, Blondie, James Brown, George Michael, Tom Jones, Coolio, The Pointer Sisters, Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, Simple Minds, Al Jarreau, Sade, to name but some.
The basic philosophy of the Music is simple, in the bands own words “just great songs”. They have gigged all over London and Europe with a huge fan base especially in Germany, Ireland and Spain. The guys are continuing to record and will end up with a masterpiece of original songs that will appeal to a wide age group. Trevor Murrell said “Over the last few years I have been asked to produce many a new Talent, but never have I been so excited about a project as this. On first hearing the Music of Tempest State, it was instantly clear that the strength and quality of their songs was positively different and superior to anything that is currently happening in the Music Industry today, and therefore this opportunity I couldn’t miss. These boys should go all the way, because impressively their Music and their sound is furnished with a huge International appeal”.
2011 is proving to be a Major year for the Band as their Tracks have been mastered by Grammy Award winner Bernie Grudman and his team. You will see them taking part in loads of Music Festivals and Gigs coming up.
