CeCe Sammy is a popular tv personality and a leading vocal coach and consultant for some of the biggest names in music.
She has an impressive roster of celebrity clients with whom she has worked including Will Young, Gareth Gates, Russell Watson, Amy Studt, S Club, Sony/BMG, Polydor and Universal, Alexander O’Neal, Sarah Brightman, UB40, and pop bands S Club 7, Bewitched, 911 and US5.
CeCe is regularly invited to guest and feature as an expert in UK tv programmes including GMTV, This Morning, BBC Breakfast, The Wright Stuff, BBC’s documentary ‘Be My Baby, Channel 5 series ‘Asbo Teen to Beauty Queen.’ One of her finest hours on screen was as a judge on the smash hit BBC celebrity duet show, Just The Two Of Us and as a leading expert on the Brian Conley variety show Let me entertain you and recently she was a fellow judge on the all singing all dancing show Dance X with Bruno Tonioli from Dancing with the stars.
CeCe came to the public’s attention as trouble shooter and vocal coach on the original Pop Idol TV series starring Simon Cowell. She was also instrumental, alongside 19 Management including Nicky Chapman, in the tv search for S Club Juniors and she went onto be their vocal coach for both S Club and S Club Junior’s subsequent tours.
In addition, she conducts regular masterclasses for up and coming talent and has worked in Malta, Spain, Russia and in Los Angeles with Seth Riggs Speech Level Singing group. Plus, CeCe participated in the fundraising All Star Workout Fitness DVD with a host of top name celebrities including Kate Winslett, Amanda Holden, Jenny Frost, Jo Whiley, Sarah Beeny, Faye Tozer, Bonnie Langford and Tania and Gordon Ramsey providing advice on healthy eating.
Born in Trinidad, CeCe is a classically trained music pianist and has performed with Diana Ross, The United Colours of Sound at The Commonwealth Games and Buckingham Palace, Julio Iglesias plus she has recorded several theme songs for tv including the official Rugby World Cup song with UB40, before she focused on training well known and emerging musical talent.
CeCe is currently developing a number of television shows UK and USA based with leading industry experts.
