Alison is an experienced broadcast journalist, who currently fronts shows daily for PLTV ( Premier League Television ) which has a huge global audience. She hosts a fan call-in show, daily news shows and reports pitchside at Premier League matches conducting post-match interviews with players and managers, and breaking live team news. Her previous work with ESPN, Sky Sports and Al Jazeera has taken her all over the world: anchoring, making documentaries, interviewing managers and players, and reporting pitchside. This has given her an excellent knowledge of European football

Alison has always been passionate about news and began working as a gallery producer at CNBC, eventually running their global news desk. This behind the camera experience proved invaluable when Alison took an anchor role on Sky Sports News. Similarly her production experience enabled her to take on a one man role at Al Jazeera writing, video editing and presenting sports bulletins.

She is an experienced live host, and has fronted several shows including "Player of the year", "Pre-season Live", football analysis shows, magazine shows, her own daily chatshow, and live rolling news. She presented a chat show during the 2010 Football World Cup for ESPN.

With a first class book of contacts, Alison has broken some big exclusives in a range of sports, but has a special affection for English, Spanish, and Italian football, having covered several FA Cup finals, the Champions League as well as commentating on Primera Liga games, and has edited Seria A sports wraps.

Working at close quarters within two of the world’s biggest football clubs Chelsea and Real Madrid, Alison has a developed a good relationship with many players and managers, delivering daily training ground reports. She has worked around the English National Camp, and been involved in three World Cups.

One of Alison's most challenging assignments was relocating to Spain and launching a 24-hour sports channel for Real Madrid. She managed a team of presenters and producers and developed new channel content whilst presenting up to 3 shows a day and having to learn a new language.

Whether it's the glitz and glamour of the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival or the dusty pitches of Ghana where she wrote and presented a moving documentary with Jose Mourinho tracing Michael Essien's football roots, you'll get an original, and thoroughly researched take on events. From ad libbing, to reading autocue, Alison has a natural ability in front of the camera and injects the same enthusiasm and passion whether she is presenting a World Cup Final or a grass roots match.
